Parker according to the provisions of the Act of Congress of the 24th of April, 1820, entitled "An act making further provision for the sale of the Public Lands," for
The South West quarter of the Southwest quarter and the North East quarter of the South west quarter of Section Twenty-five in Township Eleven South of Range Two west in the District of lands subject to sale at Kaskaskia Illinois containing Eighty Acres.
according to the official plat of the Survey of the said Lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which said tract had been purchased by the said William D. Parker

"William Parker married my ancestral grandmother, Miseniah Kitts Outland. Miseniah was the daughter of John Kitts and unknown who lived in Stewart County, TN. Miseniah married my ancestral grandfather, Jeremiah Outland in Calloway County, KY in 1825. William married first a Nancy LNU at this time. William bought land on the Ridge in Union/Jackson County. The Ridge changed counties back and forth until the current line was decided. A lot of my Union County line is right there in Ridge Precinct or the surrounding area."
